Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments with new clients to identify their mental health concerns and available resources.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the specific psychological and emotional needs of clients.
• Employ therapeutic techniques such as talk therapy to address client concerns while modeling healthy behavioral strategies.
• Facilitate ongoing evaluations of client progress, adjusting treatment approaches based on client feedback and treatment efficacy.
• Inform clients about the financial and emotional commitments associated with therapeutic engagement, ensuring transparency and trust.
• Encourage self-reflection and the development of coping skills, fostering nurturing and supportive client relationships.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Pro Plan Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will tailor your therapeutic approach to accommodate the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client, ensuring culturally competent and effective care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.
• Demonstrated experience in behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, or related clinical practice.
• Strong proficiency in verbal communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective client interaction.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
