What does a catering intern do?

A Catering Intern assists catering managers and staff with the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of events such as weddings, corporate meetings, and parties. Their responsibilities often include helping with food preparation, setting up buffet or dining areas, serving guests, and ensuring events run smoothly. Interns may also help with inventory, logistics, and post-event clean-up, gaining valuable experience in hospitality and event management. Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and effective communication set outstanding candidates apart. These skills ensure smooth event operations, high-quality service, and a positive experience for both guests and team members.
