The Role and What You'll Do:

The Coordinator, Business Development is a key contributor within Zuffa Boxing, supporting the identification, development, and execution of strategic partnerships and revenue-generating opportunities across the organization. This is a highly collaborative, execution-focused role that helps translate business development strategy into actionable plans that drive measurable growth.

  • Support the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of new business opportunities across sponsorship, media, licensing, and events
  • Assist in building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective partners and strategic opportunities
  • Develop pitch materials, presentations, and proposals for prospective and existing partners
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis across boxing, combat sports, and adjacent industries
  • Coordinate internal workflows across legal, finance, marketing, and operations teams to support deal execution
  • Track partnership performance, deliverables, and key milestones to ensure successful execution and reporting
  • Contribute to new business efforts, including research, ideation, and preparation for pitches and RFPs
  • Assist with sponsorship activations and business initiatives tied to live events and key moments
  • Maintain organized documentation of contracts, partnership terms, and pipeline activity
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Partnership Marketing, Content, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and execution
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging markets, and competitive activity to help identify growth opportunities

You Have These:

  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sports, media, or entertainment environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating presentations and client-facing materials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and support insight-driven decision-making
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and build strong internal and external relationships
  • High attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • Passion for boxing, combat sports, and the sports business landscape
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, media, or culture-driven environments preferred

  • Experience supporting sponsorships, partnerships, or sales initiatives in sports, media, or entertainment
  • Familiarity with the boxing and combat sports landscape, including promoters, sanctioning bodies, and athlete ecosystems
  • Basic understanding of media rights, content distribution, and digital platforms
  • Exposure to live event operations, sponsorship activations, or on-site execution
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, including storytelling through data and basic financial modeling
  • Ability to synthesize market research into clear, actionable insights
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish Preferred
