Operates and monitors the Hospitalโ€™s Power Plant with regard to essential systems which provide Heating, Air Conditioning, and Steam. Maintains an efficient environment by measuring Fuel Levels. Performing sample analysis and safety testing. Uses specialized knowledge to determine preventive maintenance and equipment service needs. Maintains log and records as required.


Education: High School Graduate. Blue Seal Fireman License. Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, DEP, EPA, and other applicable State and Federal Regulations including Safety.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience as industrial boiler operator.

Skills: Good communication skills, ability to interpret technical data 20/20 correctable vision and ability to operate Hospital Power Plant.
