Purpose

Act on behalf of Adept Fasteners in the negotiation and execution of Contract Terms and Conditions.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Review, complete and approve all Customer Forms.
  • Review and interpret instructions received with Contract Bid RFQโ€™s and then disseminate information to the appropriate departments.
  • Prepare preliminary Terms and Conditions language for Contract Bid RFQ responses.
  • Prepare, review and amend, negotiate, and maintain Contract documents.
  • Primary point of contact for both internal and external customers for all contractual issues.

Position Details

This position calls for an individual who can easily communicate and present a clear message to both external and internal customers. The candidate will be creative in the manner in which they negotiate terms and conditions with the ultimate goal of protecting the interests of Adept Fasteners. Strong organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work as part of a Team.

The individualโ€™s time will be primarily spent in an office using standard office equipment in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Requirements:

Background Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree.
  • 2+ years of work experience in the field of Contract Management.
  • Aerospace experience is a plus.
  • Proven Negotiation skills.
  • Conflict Resolution.
  • Strong Organizational Skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
