They conduct assessments such as Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), create individualized treatment plans, and often collaborate with other professionals and families. Unlike full-time employees, contract assessors are usually hired on a temporary or project-by-project basis, providing flexibility for both the assessor and the organization. Their primary role is to ensure that the behavioral interventions recommended are based on thorough, evidence-based assessments.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Contract BCBA Assessor?

To thrive as a Contract BCBA Assessor, you need board certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA), strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), and experience conducting behavioral assessments.
