Description

Experienced AV / Telepresence Engineer with strong Cisco WebEx hardware expertise and enterprise conference room support experience. This is a highly hands-on, on-site role supporting multiple locations, ideal for someone who thrives in troubleshooting AV environments and is comfortable working across WebEx and Microsoft Teams ecosystems. • Hardware Support & Maintenance: In partnership with Cisco Managed Services, install, configure, manage, and maintain Cisco Webex hardware and connected peripherals (i.e. - QSC, Shure, Crestron, etc.) across conference rooms and executive offices on site at the THD Corp ATL HQ location plus satellite sites within range. • AV Experience Management: Ensure optimal audio and visual quality in all meeting spaces by routinely calibrating cameras, microphones, displays, and control panels. • Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with AV integrators, hardware vendors, and internal IT teams (such as networking and security) to implement upgrades, resolution of TP support tickets and project assignments, and resolve critical hardware failures. • Documentation & Training: Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), system diagrams, platform documentation, and troubleshooting guides. Provide occasional training to end-users on how to effectively use room systems. • Standard Room Equipment quotes and procurement assistance • Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of network protocols relevant to AV over IP, including QoS, SIP, H.323, TCP/IP, RTMP, CVI, and bandwidth management. • Microsoft Teams Mastery: Strong technical knowledge of the Microsoft Teams ecosystem, especially Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and Teams Admin Center. • Microsoft Teams Operations: Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 operational support for Microsoft Teams, including Teams Rooms (MTR), live events, town halls, voice/video routing, and end-user meeting support. • Familiarity with enterprise ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
