Are you pursuing an Information Technology or Audio-Visual career and looking to gain experience to supplement related college courses you may be taking? Jackson Healthcare, located in Alpharetta, is offering an exciting opportunity as a Part-Time Audio-Visual Technician!
As a Part Time AV Technician, you will assist our AV Engineer and IT Support Team with Conference Room and Event setup and troubleshooting. To be successful in this role you'll need to be an excellent communicator who can earn a client's trust by employing fast-thinking problem solving skills, work well under pressure, and be familiar with AV basics and popular platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom. You must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision to provide excellent customer support before, during and after meetings and events.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist customers with various meeting types in different conference room settings
  • Troubleshoot issues before and during meetings and events
  • Work with IT Support to assist with AV-related incidents and requests
  • Make recommendations to customers related to AV resources for event setups
  • Assist the Desktop and Mobility Team during low-event days

Documentation:
  • Document customer interactions and issue resolutions accurately in the Support Center IT Service Management system (ServiceNow).
  • Keep all incident and request tickets updated with thorough, detailed information.
  • Maintain detailed records to facilitate knowledge sharing and reporting.
  • If the opportunity arises, produce informative and helpful Knowledge Base articles, in order to assist team members in resolving similar future AV issues that occur.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma required
  • Hands-on AV experience a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Zoom
  • Understanding of Basic AV functionality (Cameras, Mics, TVs, Projectors, additional hardware and software)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Work well under pressure and in front of people observing you
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Familiarity with the healthcare recruiting industry is a plus

Time Management:
  • Ability to use discernment to prioritize tasks and decide what to focus on to maximize impact.

REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • 100% in-office, 3-4 days per week (up to 30 hours)
  • Weekdays, hours 8:00AM-5:00PM
  • Flexible schedule will be determined in conjunction with your manager
