The Opportunity
We're hiring an experienced Contract Attorney to support our business litigation team. This remote role is ideal for an attorney licensed in Florida who is ready to step into active commercial litigation matters and deliver high-quality, strategic advocacy for our clients.
You'll handle all stages of litigation, collaborate with our team on strategy, and help drive cases forward efficiently. This is a flexible contract opportunity with potential for ongoing work based on performance and availability.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as counsel on a range of complex commercial litigation matters

  • Step into active cases and manage key aspects, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, negotiations, and hearings

  • Develop and execute effective case strategies in collaboration with firm leadership

  • Provide clear, practical, business-minded legal advice to clients

  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and client service

  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and courts

Who You Are
  • Licensed to practice law in Florida (NY admission a plus)

  • Demonstrated experience in business/commercial litigation required

  • Insurance defense and/or personal injury litigation experience is a plus but not required

  • Corporate transactional experience is also a plus but not required

  • Comfortable managing active cases and deadlines independently in a remote environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
