A busy and well-established Plaintiff Workers' Compensation law firm in Hollywood is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its team on a temp-to-hire basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working directly with injured workers, and can manage cases from intake through resolution with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of Plaintiff Workers' Compensation matters from inception through settlement
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel
  • Prepare and file petitions, motions, notices, and other Workers' Compensation documents
  • Coordinate medical records, authorizations, and treatment updates
  • Schedule hearings, mediations, depositions, IMEs, and appointments
  • Review and organize medical records and case files
  • Monitor deadlines and maintain accurate calendaring
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, settlement packages, and hearing preparation
  • Handle electronic filing and document management
  • Provide exceptional client service and case support throughout the litigation process
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of Plaintiff Workers' Compensation Paralegal experience required
  • Strong knowledge of Florida Workers' Compensation procedures and terminology
  • Experience managing files independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
