About the role:
The Production Artist supports the execution and production of high-quality design work. This role is highly executional-focused on taking creative direction from senior team members and translating it into polished, production-ready assets. You will play a critical role in maintaining consistency, accuracy, and quality across deliverables while helping bring creative visions to life.
What you'll do:
  • Review assignments directly with the Production supervisor to determine the best method of execution.
  • Review file specifications prior to producing files and maintain consistent file preparation suitable for outputting by vendors and developers.
  • Produce mechanicals based on the layout while maintaining the creative integrity.
  • Assist in developing methods to create and maintain consistent studio file preparation.
  • Produce consistent file results between the layout and final builds.
  • Work with staff to produce artwork for all phases of design and development.
  • Communicate as necessary with production staff or project management to prevent errors.
  • Monitor art preparation guidelines as dictated by Supervisors and industry.
  • Recommend technical and procedural updates and changes as needed.
  • Assist in the collection and distribution of assets for the preparation of production artwork as necessary.
  • Assist in organizing, monitoring, archiving, and maintaining files on the server.

Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Production Artist demonstrating proficiency in print and digital asset prep, along with expertise in PowerPoint design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Experience using Figma
  • Mastery of layout, typography, and production best practices
  • Experience working within established brand guidelines and systems
  • Ability to follow creative direction while executing with precision and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Familiarity with preparing files for print, digital, and social formats
  • Experience with digital tools and AI is a plus
