Permanent Artists often work in beauty salons, dermatology clinics, or their own studios, and require training in both artistry and sanitation procedures. Their services can help clients save time on daily makeup routines or address medical needs such as scar camouflage.

To thrive as a Permanent Artist (such as a permanent makeup or cosmetic tattoo artist), you need expertise in color theory, facial anatomy, and advanced artistic techniques, usually supported by formal training and certification in permanent cosmetics.
