Responsibilities:
  • Ensure teams work to follow all health and safety standards to prevent injuries and obstacles to project completion, and quickly report any safety regulation issues
  • Determine the project deliverables and specifications, including the project scope, necessary project resources, and estimated labor needed by collaborating with clients, engineers, and architects
  • Schedule construction operations and create a construction timeline to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Conduct business with external vendors, contractors, and critical subcontractors to negotiate profitable contracts

Team Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project initiation
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication of expectations
  • Foster effective communication and teamwork among project stakeholders

Client Interaction:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the project lifecycle
  • Maintain open communication with clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns

Quality Control:

  • Implement quality control measures to uphold the company's standards of excellence

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and other relevant records
  • Generate regular project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders

Problem Solving:

  • Identify issues or challenges that may arise during projects and proactively develop solutions to address them
  • Escalate critical issues to senior management when necessary, along with recommended courses of action

Continuous Improvement:

  • Analyze project performance and outcomes to identify areas for improvement
  • Propose and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:
  • Experience using construction or project management software preferred
  • One year of previous experience as a construction project manager required
  • Strong communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar/related role
  • Familiarity with construction project management software (CRM) is highly valued
