This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work setting while engaging with clients through virtual therapy sessions. Our outpatient clinic in Pomona, California, provides a collaborative online platform, which is particularly suited for professional therapists looking to balance their work-life commitments while still making a deep impact in patient care. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration and support.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients’ mental health status through interviews, observations, and standardized assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Provide regular therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques, adjusting approaches as needed to reflect client progress.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in mental health practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of services offered by the center.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Ultimate Energy Wellness Center, you will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our patient population values culturally competent care, and your understanding of diverse backgrounds will enhance your approach within the therapeutic process.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapeutic modalities, and cultural competency principles.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience conducting both individual and group therapy sessions with a focus on inclusive practices.
• Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations with poise and professionalism, utilizing effective intervention strategies.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to pursue further training and education to enhance therapeutic skills.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
