We're a company driven by growth, innovation, and people. At HCA, you'll find opportunities to build new skills, expand your career, and make a real impact-while working in a diverse, inclusive, and valuesdriven environment. We're proud to support our communities through volunteerism, philanthropy, and engaged Employee Resource Groups.

If you're looking for a fastpaced, collaborative workplace where your ideas matter, join us as we lead the future of financing freedom of movement. Apply today.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This position plays a key role in how HCA builds and scales technology - from AWS-native reference architectures to the governance model for emerging AI capabilities like Amazon Bedrock and Salesforce Agentforce. The individual will influence real platform decisions and drive modernization initiatives to support HCA's long-term digital strategy.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Enterprise Architecture Strategy, Standards & Roadmaps

  • Define and maintain enterprise architecture strategy, standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.

  • Partner with stakeholders to align business and technology priorities, integration strategies, and future-state architectures.

  • Maintain enterprise architecture artifacts, including system landscapes, service catalogs, and architecture repositories.

  • Guide integration strategy across a growing platform landscape, evaluating and standardizing on API management and iPaaS approaches as HCA's systems footprint evolves.

  • Partner with technology teams on the architecture of emerging AI/ML initiatives, including governance frameworks, ensuring innovation moves fast, while not outpacing security and compliance.

Enterprise Architecture Tooling, Asset Management & Reporting

  • Manage architecture tools, standards inventories, and technology lifecycle reporting.

  • Assess technology risks, technical debt, and lifecycle issues, providing recommendations for remediation.

Architecture Governance & Review Board Leadership

  • Lead Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes, architecture reviews, and governance activities.

  • Ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards through design reviews, architecture decisions, and stakeholder alignment.

Architecture Execution, Integration & Vendor Coordination

  • Provide architecture leadership across enterprise initiatives, ensuring solutions align with approved standards, roadmaps, and integration strategies.

  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to support successful architecture execution and delivery.

Industry Research, Innovation & Architecture Recommendations

  • Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement of enterprise architecture capabilities.

  • Provide strategic recommendations that support business objectives and future technology direction.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or technology strategy.

  • Experience developing architecture standards, governance frameworks, roadmaps, reference architectures, and integration strategies.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud architectures, enterprise integrations, microservices, distributed systems, and application modernization.

  • Experience with architecture governance, technology lifecycle planning, application rationalization, and technical debt management.

  • Experience with Salesforce, digital platforms, AI/ML, cloud technologies, or emerging technologies preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Enterprise architecture, cloud, Agile, or related certifications are a plus.

WE TAKE CARE OF OUR PEOPLE

Benefits Highlights

  • Hybrid flexibility - 4 days in office, 1 day remote

  • Vehicle perks - monthly vehicle allowance plus purchase and lease discounts

  • Comprehensive health coverage - medical, dental, and vision plans

  • Employer-funded HSA contributions to help reduce healthcare costs

  • 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting from day one

  • 100% company-paid life and disability insurance

  • Wellbeing benefits including fitness and health resources

  • Leadership programs and career development that support continuous learning
