Job Duties
  • Under broad direction, responsible for facilitating global functional strategy through continuous improvement across various operations in a business.
  • Develops functional analytical approaches and applies proven structured process improvement techniques in support of product service line operations, country , or PSL support function strategy and value chain.
  • Aligns to strategy and leads efforts for establishing and sustaining improvement processes supporting a director or global operations manager and the associated value streams in the business.
  • Facilitates transfer of business applicable strategy and best practice continuous improvement processes.
  • Manages/partners to align resources addressing strategic projects or issues supporting the value streams across department and geographic separation.
  • Maintains awareness and aligns to company structure, industry trends and advances in management and systems.
  • Mentors and coaches product service line or regional leaders and personnel to promote and foster a thriving Continuous Improvement (Lean) culture, develop Continuous Improvement (Lean) competencies, and empower individuals throughout the organization to relentlessly pursue waste elimination, driving continuous improvement and maximizing customer value.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of appropriate business level management systems, infrastructures and management processes.

Qualifications
  • Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering or similar discipline.
  • 5-10 years experience in Lean 6 Sigma organization transformation in operations, manufacturing, and/or quality is preferred.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Continuous Improvement Manager, or Continuous Improvement Senior Manager.
