The Senior Manager of System Safety & Airworthiness will lead all system-safety and airworthiness activities at Marietta, GA. This role is the primary authority for establishing, implementing, and continuously improving safety requirements that protect people, equipment, and mission readiness.
Core Responsibilities
System-Safety Leadership - Direct the review of product systems, support equipment, facilities, and operational procedures to identify hazards, define safety criteria, and develop mitigation strategies.
Certification & Continued Airworthiness - Create and execute comprehensive airworthiness certification plans, secure flight-clearance approvals, and manage ongoing airworthiness for U.S. and international accreditation.
Safety Strategy & Continuous Improvement - Formulate a long-term system-safety strategy, drive continuous-improvement initiatives, and ensure government certification throughout development, production, and sustainment.
