Job description

**This role requires candidates to be onsite 4-days a week at our Rosemont, IL Headquarters**

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement external and internal communications programming for the business and ensure consistent corporate image /company brand is communicated and maintained across all internal and external outlets
  • Aid in the development, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive external and internal verbal, visual and written communication practices
  • Support the communication needs of the business and its leaders, by driving and executing various communication initiatives and programs
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of employee communications, attend meetings and events, gather data, and create communications to disseminate information to employees and stakeholders, as appropriate
  • Oversee and manage the company intranet, including reviewing, editing, and publishing company news, announcements, and ongoing content generation
  • Support organizational initiatives by creating communications and other promotional tactics to distribute information to employees and stakeholders inclusive of change management plans
  • Any other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 plus years of related experience, or High School Diploma/General Education Degree and 8 plus years of related experience.
  • Experience with electronic communications (intranet, video, social media).
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage distribution industry and trends.
  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Experience with content design.
