Job Description

The TT QA/PE Technician will:

Be responsible for a multitude of roles within the PCT division with dotted line reporting to PCT Supervisor and Process Engineering Manager.

This role will require the ability to do the following functions:

  1. Lead and support Quality Incidence, A3, process improvement initiatives, including trials, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
  2. Monitor and analyze quality and process performance (QA surveillance, scrap trends, KPI (QSC) reporting) and implement corrective actions.
  3. Plan and coordinate testing activities (QA, capability studies, gauge R&R, benchmark, regulatory), and implement corrective actions.
  4. Perform data collection and analysis (e.g., production, rework, scrap), driving improvements in quality, cost, and efficiency.
  5. Conduct routine process audits, machine checks, and warehouse inspections to ensure operational stability and compliance. Initiate and track PPS and Internal Audit actions.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams (engineering, tire technology, external partners) to resolve technical and quality issues. Maintain NAR, FMEA, Control Plans, PoMs, Work Instructions.
  7. Train personnel on process improvements and standard procedures, and provide operational support.
  8. Maintain equipment calibration, sample storage/traceability, and overall quality system requirements.
  9. Ensure adherence to ESH (Environment, Safety, Health) policies, legal requirements, and safe work practices.
  10. Support additional operational, quality, and engineering tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.

  • Previous manufacturing experience 

Environment

  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes. 
  • New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends. 
  • The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.
  • The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

The starting annual salary for this role is $70,664 a year.
