Position Overview The Branch Manager oversees all operational and financial aspects of the branch office. This role is directly accountable for driving profitable sales growth, managing financial performance, and ensuring world-class customer satisfaction. As a leader, you will guide branch personnel, enforce company policies, and look for continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Relationship Management * Deliver a high-quality customer experience to increase profitable sales and turn clients into brand promoters.
Maintain close, strategic business relationships with the top 20% of the branch's clients.
Pursue and maintain preferred vendor status with key accounts.
Educate customers on product offerings to expand the use of company products and services.
Deliver executive-level and service-level sales presentations.
Utilize the CRM daily to log activity, call reports, quotes, orders, and resolve customer or vendor issues.
Operations & Administration * Manage the financial performance, profitability, and budgeting of the branch.
Ensure accurate documentation of all customer transactions and compile regular sales/operational reports.
Coordinate regularly with the Regional Manager to achieve targeted sales objectives.
Oversee the timely collection of payments for all branch orders.
Maintain, replenish, and audit consignment products for customers.
Occasionally assist in the warehouse, including loading/unloading products, delivering orders, and picking up used batteries.
Leadership & Safety * Lead, mentor, and manage all branch personnel to ensure a high-performing team.
Train personnel on mastered job processes, techniques, safety procedures, and company policies.
Complete all necessary administrative work to guarantee the physical safety of all branch personnel.
Facilitate fair, consistent treatment of team members in alignment with company culture.
Qualifications & Requirements Formal Training & Credentials * Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience (a GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred).
Driving Record: Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) showing little-to-no safety concerns within the past 3 years.
Experience Requirements Candidates must meet at least one of the following experience criteria:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Branch Manager elsewhere.
Minimum of 1 year working as a Manager-in-Training (M.I.T.) within Continental Battery Systems.
Minimum of 3 years working as an Assistant Manager within Continental Battery Systems.
Pay Details: $75k-$80k/yr
