The Content & Creative Director leads Concentra's content, creative and external communications transforming marketing strategies and business priorities into compelling communications, campaigns and creative experiences that strengthen the organization's reputation, build brand awareness and support business growth. This role oversees enterprise content strategy, editorial planning, creative development, brand stewardship and content operations while leading a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering high-quality customer-facing communications across the enterprise.

Working closely with the Vice President, Marketing & Communications, this leader partners across Product, Digital, Revenue Operations, Sales, Clinical and Operations to translate business priorities into integrated content and creative strategies, elevate the Concentra brand and continuously enhance the organization's content and creative capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated content strategies that strengthen Concentra's reputation, build brand awareness, increase customer engagement and support enterprise growth initiatives.
  • Lead the creative function by providing strategic creative direction, coaching writers and designers, and ensuring all deliverables reflect Concentra's brand standards and quality expectations.
  • Champion the consistent application of Concentra's brand standards, messaging architecture, editorial quality and visual identity across all external marketing communications.
  • Partner with business, clinical and commercial leaders to translate enterprise priorities into integrated content, creative and communications strategies that support customer acquisition, customer engagement, retention and business growth.
  • Develop compelling content, including thought leadership, executive presentations, customer stories, case studies, testimonials, news announcements, media materials, sales enablement materials, website content, campaign assets, videos and other external communications.
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the content and creative function, including editorial planning, project management, intake, prioritization, resource allocation and production workflows to ensure efficient, high-quality delivery.
  • Establish and continuously improve content operations, governance, measurement frameworks and creative workflows by implementing best practices and leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency while maintaining editorial and creative excellence.
  • Establish key performance indicators and success measures to evaluate content effectiveness, campaign engagement and creative impact, using insights to continuously optimize strategy and execution.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing content and creative team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree Major: Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, English or a related field of study
  • Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
  • In lieu of higher education, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice-versa.
  • Customarily has at least eight (8) years of experience leading enterprise content strategy, integrated marketing, brand communications, creative services, or related marketing functions within a complex, matrixed B2B organization.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining enterprise brand standards, messaging frameworks, editorial governance, and quality across multiple communication channels.
  • Experience leveraging performance metrics, customer insights, and analytics to optimize content strategy, measure effectiveness, and drive business results.
  • Experience leading marketing, communications, content, or creative functions within a complex, regulated, or highly matrixed B2B environment; healthcare industry experience is preferred but not required.
