We leverage technology to deliver these services through our website, mobile app and by phone. Last year, we helped over 300 million people access information about the currencies that matter to them and over 225,000 people used us to send money overseas.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
Xe is seeking a Content Strategist to own and evolve the company's global content strategy and editorial direction across channels and markets.
Reporting to the Head of Brand, this role sits at the intersection of Brand, Organic Growth, Lifecycle Marketing, and Performance Media, ensuring that content not only reinforces Xe's brand identity but also drives measurable business outcomes across acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention.
This is a strategic and execution-oriented role responsible for defining what content Xe creates, why it matters, and how it performs-while enabling consistent, high-quality execution across formats, markets, and channels.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own Xe's content strategy and editorial calendar across owned channels including blog, social, and email
  • Develop and optimize content strategies that drive measurable acquisition, engagement, registration, and retention outcomes
  • Define content strategy across the full customer lifecycle, including acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, re-engagement
  • Define content priorities by segment, funnel stage, and market in partnership with Product Marketing and Brand
  • Partner with SEO / AEO Specialist to ensure content strategy drives organic discoverability and search performance
  • Brief Content Producer to ensure high-quality, on-brand content output across formats
  • Partner with Acquisition to develop content assets that support paid channel performance
  • Partner with Lifecycle to develop content for retention and re-engagement programs
  • Build and maintain scalable content operations, governance, and asset management processes across markets and channels
  • Build and maintain Xe's brand voice guidelines to ensure consistency across all content touchpoints
  • Manage agency relationships to supplement internal content production capacity as needed

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • 5-8+ years in content strategy or brand content; fintech or consumer digital experience preferred
  • Proven ability to develop content strategies spanning written, video, and social formats
  • Cross-functional experience partnering with SEO, paid, and lifecycle teams to align content to channel needs
  • Strong editorial judgment with ability to maintain consistent brand voice across all outputs
  • Experience using testing and performance insights to optimize content effectiveness and customer conversion

XE offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The reasonable estimated pay for this role ranges from ($110,000USD to $130,000USD). Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
