Job Description Content Marketing & Marketing Automation Specialist Location: Battle Creek, MI Position Overview A national company in the marketing supply chain and branded merchandise services industry is seeking a creative, curious, and data-driven Content Marketing & Marketing Automation Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for developing, deploying, and optimizing content and campaigns across websites, email, LinkedIn, video, digital advertising, sales materials, and occasional print collateral. A central challenge will be learning complex B2B products and solutions and translating them into clear, compelling, audience-specific content while managing the buyer journey from awareness to lead handoff.

Key Responsibilities Build and manage content and campaign calendars aligned with strategic priorities, ideal customer profiles, and sales goals. Write and develop website pages, landing pages, blog posts, case studies, white papers, emails, LinkedIn posts, video scripts, presentations, and sales collateral. Administer Salesforce and Account Engagement (Pardot) to build, deploy, and manage email templates, forms, audience lists, segmentation rules, and automated nurture journeys.

Partner with sales leadership to optimize lead scoring, qualification, routing, and transition from MQLs to SQLs. Track and report on qualified website traffic, search visibility, email performance, social engagement, conversions, MQLs/SQLs, and influenced pipeline. Coordinate photography, video production, graphic design, and web development with internal teams and external vendors.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Exceptional writing, editing, interviewing, and storytelling skills for B2B audiences. Working knowledge of content strategy, B2B buyer journeys, lead generation, and lead nurturing.

Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Account Engagement (Pardot) or comparable CRM and marketing automation platforms. Experience with WordPress (or similar CMS) and familiarity with content development tools like Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva. Practical understanding of SEO, website content structure, calls to action, landing pages, and conversion best practices.

Ability to provide a portfolio or work samples demonstrating writing and campaign execution capabilities. Preferred Qualifications Video filming, production, and editing experience. Graphic design and print-production knowledge.
