Overview

The Director of Content createsย synergyย amongst internal teams, external partners, and client stakeholders to carryout best-in-class content programs. Furthermore, the Director willย utilizeย their knowledge of content, content strategy, and the advertisement/vendor landscape to build and strengthen top tier content partnerships andย leverageย the best investment options possible. ย 

Must haves include at least 7 years of relevant experience and a provenย track recordย of building andย maintainingย strong relationships amongst internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience within digital media and will be able to bring a strong, creative point-of-view to the table as it relates to creating campaigns that resonate with target audience.ย 

This role is part of a creative, collaborative team that encourages out-of-the-box thinking,ย innovationย and excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current media industry news and brand business (current and historical perspectives) with a focus on upstreamย initiativesย 

  • Apply your experience to elevate strategic thinking across the portfolio and setย appropriate learningย agendaย elementsย 

  • Partner with creatives during idea generation toย identifyย potential for content in today's landscape through the lens of ourย consumerย 

  • Work with Experience Planners to extend creative ideas throughย additionalย contentย ย 

  • Establish content best practice in service of increasing advertisingย effectivenessย 

  • Work with Experience Planner and Brand Strategist,ย identifyย the role of content at a platform,ย targetย or partner level within the Experience Planย 

  • Work directly with the lead creatives, ensuring the execution will drive effectiveness based on consumer behavior and best practice within theย channelย 

  • In partnership with Investment team, recommend how much content an experience plan can support given budget and reach sufficiencyย goalsย 

  • In partnership with Production, recommend what needs to be captured on the shoot, where to source it from, and ensure each execution is fit forย purposeย 

  • Work with Influencers or Media Publishers to produce brandedย contentย 

  • Activelyย participateย in priority brand meetings, action the learnings and insight by working directly with the creative teams to implement contentย changesย 

  • Facilitate team building through collaboration, open communication, and focused project management to assure that assignments are executedย in a timelyย mannerย 

  • Provide vision, direction,ย managementย and support to individuals within the team to ensure their work aligns with our mission andย goalsย 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, ideally in Marketing, Communications,ย Advertisingย or a related fieldย ย ย ย ย 

  • 7+ years of media experienceย 

  • Previousย team management experience with progressing leadership responsibilitiesย ย 

  • Ability to strategically plan campaigns from audience determination, through how to best flight and execute campaigns to align withย clientsย strategic goals and KPIsย 

  • Strong understanding of analytics to inform andย validateย planning andย strategyย 

  • History ofย identifyingย media opportunities, presenting them to clients, and executingย ย 

  • Experience monitoring and recommending improvements to the entire media planningย processย 

  • Ensuring people are adopting theย best in classย tools, techniques, systems to deliver effective media processesย 

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal along with visual storytelling), diplomacy, and relationship building andย decision makingย skills with the ability to think creatively.ย ย

ย Compensation Range: USD $129,485.00 - USD $186,060.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
