Job description

ECA is a vertically integrated real estate investment platform with affiliated businesses spanning investment, operations, property management, construction and supply, and related strategic initiatives. As the organization continues to grow, ECA is building a stronger centralized marketing function to support each business while maintaining a consistent institutional brand across the broader platform.

About the Role

The Brand & Content Manager will lead the day-to-day execution of ECA's brand and content strategy across ECA and its affiliated entities. This is a hands-on creative role responsible for producing original photography and video, managing social media and digital content, maintaining websites, developing marketing collateral, and helping ensure each ECA-affiliated business is represented consistently and professionally.

Professional photography and videography capabilities are a core requirement of this position. The Brand & Content Manager must be comfortable operating professional camera equipment and independently capturing high-quality photo and video content for executive communications, company initiatives, events, business-unit storytelling, recruiting, internal culture, and other strategic content needs across the ECA platform.

This role requires someone who can understand the distinct positioning of each ECA-affiliated entity while ensuring the overall platform maintains a cohesive and institutional brand.

Key Responsibilities Photography, Videography & Content Production
  • Personally capture professional-quality photography and video across ECA and its affiliated businesses.
  • Operate professional DSLR or mirrorless camera equipment, lenses, lighting, audio, and other production equipment.
  • Plan and execute photo and video shoots from concept through final delivery.
  • Capture executive interviews, company events, employee features, business-unit initiatives, office content, project activity, and other brand-building moments.
  • Produce both planned campaign content and timely day-to-day content that supports ECA and its affiliated entities.
  • Edit photography and video for social media, websites, presentations, recruiting, internal communications, and other marketing channels.
  • Produce short-form video and social-first content tailored to individual platforms.
  • Maintain an organized and current library of approved photo, video, and creative assets.
  • Travel as needed to ECA offices, affiliated businesses, events, and project locations to capture content.
Brand Management
  • Maintain and execute ECA brand standards across the parent brand and affiliated entities.
  • Help define and preserve the appropriate visual identity, messaging, tone, and positioning for each business while maintaining consistency across the broader ECA platform.
  • Support brand development and refinement for new or evolving ECA-affiliated businesses and initiatives.
  • Develop templates and creative resources that allow teams across the organization to represent their brands consistently.
  • Review creative materials across entities to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with established standards.
Social Media & Content
  • Manage and support organic social media content across ECA and applicable affiliated entities.
  • Develop content calendars that reflect each business's priorities, audience, and positioning.
  • Create original content highlighting company growth, leadership, transactions, operating businesses, employees, partnerships, events, and strategic initiatives.
  • Write and edit social copy, captions, website content, executive communications, and other brand materials.
  • Translate complex business activity into clear, polished, and visually compelling content.
  • Maintain a consistent cadence of high-quality content without compromising the distinct identity of each ECA-affiliated brand.
Website & Digital Content
  • Manage ongoing content updates across ECA and affiliated entity websites.
  • Ensure website copy, imagery, leadership information, portfolio information, and other digital content remain current and accurate.
  • Coordinate website updates associated with acquisitions, business launches, leadership announcements, new initiatives, and organizational growth.
  • Partner with internal teams and outside vendors on larger website and digital projects as needed.
Marketing Collateral & Communications
  • Create and maintain corporate and business-unit marketing materials.
  • Develop presentations, one-pagers, brochures, flyers, recruiting materials, digital assets, templates, and other collateral.
  • Support executive and corporate communications with strong visual and written content.
  • Ensure materials remain accurate, current, and aligned with the appropriate ECA or affiliated-entity brand.
Cross-Entity Marketing Support
  • Serve as a centralized creative resource for ECA's affiliated businesses.
  • Work with leaders across ECA entities to understand content needs, priorities, and upcoming initiatives.
  • Balance multiple brands and workstreams while maintaining clear differentiation between entities.
  • Help build repeatable processes for content requests, asset management, approvals, and brand consistency across the platform.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in content creation, brand marketing, photography, videography, social media, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated professional photography and videography experience required.
  • Strong working knowledge of professional DSLR or mirrorless camera equipment, lenses, lighting, audio, and production equipment required.
  • Ability to independently plan, shoot, edit, and deliver professional-quality photo and video content.
  • Strong video editing and photo editing capabilities.
  • Experience creating short-form digital and social video content.
  • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, visual storytelling, and creative direction.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience managing social media channels and content calendars.
  • Experience maintaining and updating website content.
  • Ability to work across multiple brands while maintaining distinct positioning and consistent quality.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or comparable professional editing software strongly preferred.
  • Real estate, investment, financial services, corporate communications, or multi-brand platform experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed for content capture.

A portfolio must be submitted with the application and should include examples of both photography and videography work. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to independently capture, edit, and produce professional-quality visual content.

Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be considered.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means ECA and its affiliated businesses maintain a consistent pipeline of high-quality, original content that reflects the sophistication of the broader platform while allowing each entity to retain its own distinct identity. From executive interviews and company announcements to website updates, social content, events, presentations, and brand campaigns, the Brand & Content Manager will play a hands-on role in shaping how ECA and its businesses are presented to the market.
