Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Digital Merchandiser will work on-site at our corporate office in Springfield, MO. and is responsible for supporting the execution and optimization of the customer shopping path, merchandising presentation, promotional messaging, and marketing content in assigned categories. You'll participate in pre-season assortment planning, coordinate direct channel offers (catalog / retail/club) with Internet strategy for seamless customer experience. Accountable for navigation of assigned web store categories, item maintenance, site operations knowledge and online customer experience. Reports to a Digital Operations Manager to maintain overall web store consistency and customer experience standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Owns the planning and execution of each category's digital shelf merchandising and product optimization - plans are crafted in collaboration with Sales, Omni Marketing Lead, Creative, Digital Capabilities, Brand/Season, and other cross functional teams.
  • Accountable for site product hierarchy web store structure and customer facing navigation of assigned categories, product presentations, special navigation, indexing, site search and guided navigation through attributes. Measured by customer satisfaction index and direct customer comments.
  • Creates a category experience that is friction-free, accurate, engaging, & inspiring. Demonstrates expertise with innovative features that surprise & delight the customer.
  • Accountable for knowledge of all digital marketing programs, social media, emerging technology and how to leverage these programs for assortment performance and brand positioning. Responsible to communicate assortment strategy to digital marketing team, understand performance standards and keep assigned Category Manager informed.
  • Analyzes & communicates financial results and utilizes analytics to identify shortfalls, drive course corrections & recommendations to maximize sales.
  • Accountable for web store managed content scheduling, approval and execution in assigned web categories such as category page features, sub-categories, doorways, email campaigns, content and the hundreds of web pages that are associated to respective assortment.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 2 - 4 years of related professional experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communications (written and oral) skills
  • Ability to work in a fluid, fast paced environment
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage and influence change throughout an organization
