Who are we hiring?

Manager, Social Content is a key member of the Sphere Social team and reports into the Director, Social Content. This role is responsible for developing and leading social media strategies that drive business objectives, strengthen brand relevance, and maximize audience engagement across Sphere's portfolio of experiences.

This individual will serve as a strategic lead across organic social initiatives, translating audience insights, cultural trends and business priorities into integrated social programs. The Manager will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to shape content direction, campaign planning, audience growth initiatives, and performance optimization efforts.

We are looking for a highly strategic thinker who lives and breathes social, understands the evolving entertainment landscape, and can balance creative instincts with data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building long-term strategic frameworks, identifying cultural opportunities, and influencing stakeholders across the organization. ย 

What will you do?

  • Help lead the development of channel, campaign, and audience strategies that support Sphere's overall business and marketing objectives.
  • Create strategic social frameworks, content pillars, and audience engagement approaches that guide content development and publishing priorities.
  • Identify emerging platform behaviors, cultural trends, creator opportunities, and audience shifts to inform proactive social recommendations.
  • Partner with Marketing, Brand, Communications, Creative, and Production teams to ensure social strategies are integrated across broader marketing efforts.
  • Assist with social performance analysis and storytelling, transforming data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Evaluate content performance and provide strategic feedback that improves effectiveness, engagement, and audience relevance.
  • Act as a key social subject matter expert across the organization, educating stakeholders on platform trends, audience behavior, and best practices.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site. ย 

What do you need to succeed?

  • 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or integrated marketing.
  • Proven experience developing social strategies for major brands, entertainment properties, media companies, or consumer-facing organizations.
  • Deep expertise across major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
  • Strong understanding of social-first creative development, audience growth strategies, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Experience building measurement frameworks and translating analytics into actionable business recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, highly-matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong understanding of entertainment, pop culture, and internet culture.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
