Job description

Vice President of Content Design in Co-Brand Card

As a Vice President of Content Design in Co-Brand Card, you will develop and execute content plans for inclusive, usable product experiences and play a pivotal role in shaping customer experiences through content. Lead strategically important initiatives, drive innovative solutions to complex problems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Leverage your expertise in content design and content architecture and provide guidance and direction in the narrative structure of products and services. Create engaging, user-friendly content that effectively communicates complex concepts to a diverse audience. Champion inclusive design and customer experience and contribute to the success of JPMorgan Chase's user experience design efforts.

In this role, you will architect and deliver modular, scalable content systems for the Co-Brand portfolio—creating reusable frameworks, templates, and governance that scale across multiple partners and cards while tailoring variants to each partner's brand, legal requirements, and customer needs. You will set strategy, lead execution, and measure impact in close partnership with Product, Partner Portfolio, Development, Data, and Research. Your success will depend on excellent content craft and strong leadership capabilities. You'll work collaboratively with Research and Design to clarify customer needs and build a deep understanding of the business to drive outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement content design strategies for multiple product components, ensuring alignment with business and user experience goals
  • Facilitate end-to-end discovery workshops with designers to understand narrative and optimal content architecture
  • Use content models and taxonomies to design, structure, and organize digital content for intuitive customer experiences
  • Collaborate with cross-product teams to develop consistent voice and narrative structures
  • Champion inclusive language for a diverse audience, ensuring positive customer interactions
  • Design and lead content deliveries that meet legal requirements and accessibility standards
  • Lead legal and compliance reviews, designing accessible content that safeguards the business and advocates for customers
  • Architect scalable content systems with clear governance and versioning for partner-specific customization
  • Create partner playbooks and variation guidelines to preserve coherence while tailoring content to each partner's needs
  • Drive delivery at scale: manage content pipelines and release plans across multiple partner programs
  • Coordinate cross-functional handoffs with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Marketing

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in content design, editing, writing, strategy, process, and architecture for digital products and platforms
  • Ability to design effective content architecture for enhanced user experience and easy navigation
  • Expertise in written and verbal storytelling, clarifying complex concepts for diverse audiences
  • Extensive experience facilitating workshops for product and experience design
  • Advanced technical literacy and deep understanding of content platforms and their impact on user experience
  • Champion inclusive, accessible language for a diverse audience
  • Experience building scalable content frameworks in multi-brand or co-brand environments
  • Background in content operations and familiarity with design systems/component libraries
  • Ability to translate partner agreements and regulatory requirements into actionable content standards
  • Proven track record balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery across complex, cross-functional programs

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Design leadership or managerial experience
  • Experience in financial services or marketing communications
  • Proficiency in Figma and UX/UI design
  • Experience designing and implementing end-to-end service design and strategy
