Position: CAD Technician
Location: Evansville, IN
Position Summary
We are seeking a CAD Technician to create coordinated 2D drawings and support model-based documentation for utility projects while upholding standards, content quality, and workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about accurate, consistent documentation.
Responsibilities
• Prepare clear, well-annotated utility drawings, details, and schedules per standards.
• Coordinate with engineers to translate markups and design intent into production drawings.
• Maintain drawing sets, files, and references; perform routine audits for quality and consistency.
• Support content creation (blocks, styles, details) and sheet set organization.
• Assist project managers with documentation workflows and deliverable coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Degree or certificate in Drafting, CAD, Civil/Architecture, or related discipline.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit/GIS is a plus.
• Strong prioritization skills in multi-project environments.
