Overview

We're looking for a creative, socialsavvy Seasonal Social Media Content Creator to support our retail stores by creating engaging, authentic content that highlights our product, brand, and instore experience. This role is ideal for someone who loves social media, understands current trends, and is excited to use real store products to create content that drives awareness, engagement, and traffic into our retail locations.

This is a parttime internship, summer seasonal role designed to support key selling periods and campaigns. This intern intern will be based in Austin, TX and must be able to travel to the following HEYDUDE stores: S. Congress, San Marcos, Grapevine, and Grand Prairie

What You'll Do
  • Create shortform social media content (photos and videos) using instore product to showcase styling, features, and brand moments
  • Capture content in and around the retail store that highlights new arrivals, seasonal stories, promotions, and store experience
  • Support content creation for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and other brandapproved social channels
  • Stay current on social media trends, formats, and best practices to ensure content feels relevant and engaging
  • Partner with store leadership to align content with key product focuses, promotions, and trafficdriving moments
  • Assist with light editing of photos and videos using mobile tools and apps
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone, and visual standards
  • Drive engagement across retail content to elevate impression and reach
  • Represent the brand positively and professionally in all content creation activities

ROLE DELIVERABLES:

  • Create and publish 5+ social content pieces per week (photo and video) using instore product
  • Capture authentic instore content highlighting new arrivals, seasonal campaigns, promotions, and store experience
  • Edit and post content for approved local/market social channels using brandapproved tools
  • Monitor content performance and identify highengagement trends and opportunities
  • Partner with store leadership to align content with key product focuses and trafficdriving moments
  • Educate and collaborate with store teams to support consistent, onbrand retail storytelling
  • Be the social HUB for retail store teams for best practice and ways to drive performing content
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • Passion for social media, content creation, and digital storytelling
  • Comfort being on camera and/or directing others in content creation
  • Preferably prior experience with social content amplification
  • Strong understanding of social platforms and trends (especially shortform video)
  • Creative eye for styling, composition, and storytelling
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with store leadership
  • Reliable availability for 20-30 hours per week throughout the seasonal period
  • Prior experience creating social content (personal or professional) preferred
  • Retail, fashion, lifestyle, or brand experience is a plus
  • Ability to climb and descend stairs and ladders carrying merchandise daily
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds or more with assistance daily
  • Must by 18 years old or older

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

At Crocs, Inc. we believe in the power of a blend of in-person and virtual collaboration to drive creativity and strengthen relationships. Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Explorer persona.
