Position Summary
The Treasury Intern supports treasury and cash management functions through assistance with cash reporting, bank reconciliations, payment monitoring, and liquidity tracking activities. This internship provides exposure to corporate treasury operations within a multi-divisional fuel transportation organization.
The role is designed to develop an understanding of cash flow management, banking operations, and financial controls in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily cash position reporting and cash tracking
Support bank reconciliation preparation and validation
Assist with monitoring ACH, wire, and payment activity
Organize treasury documentation and banking records
Support cash forecasting and liquidity reporting activities
Assist with research of banking discrepancies or payment issues
Support treasury reporting and analysis projects
Participate in process improvement and documentation initiatives

Qualifications
Required
Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Basic understanding of financial concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Preferred
Exposure to banking, treasury, or accounting coursework
Experience with ERP systems or financial reporting tools
Interest in treasury operations or corporate finance
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds
Working Conditions:
Standard office environment with normal business hours.
