Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate safe and efficient vessel and marine operations to achieve productivity and service objectives.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop frontline supervisors and operational personnel while supporting performance management and employee growth.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and operational resources to maximize vessel productivity and terminal efficiency.
  • Monitor operational performance in real time, resolving issues and minimizing delays to support timely vessel turnaround.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, environmental requirements, and applicable maritime regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with vessel planning, yard operations, maintenance teams, shipping lines, and port partners to maintain seamless operations.
  • Analyze operational KPIs and performance trends to identify opportunities for productivity improvements and operational excellence.

What We Are Looking For
Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a thoughtful improvement mindset-curious about how work gets done and motivated to make meaningful, sustainable improvements over time.
  • Bring 3-5 years of progressive experience in terminal, marine, logistics, transportation, port operations, or a related operational environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of container terminal operations, marine vessel activities, and cargo handling processes.
  • Possess an understanding of terminal equipment utilization and vessel productivity drivers.
  • Apply strong leadership, coaching, and employee development capabilities in a fast-paced operational setting.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, or possess an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Salary: $80K - $90K
Hours: This role supports a continuous terminal operation and requires flexibility to work varying schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
