Job Summary
Responsible for managing container equipment inventory, availability, and movement across the U.S. network. This role ensures optimal equipment utilization while supporting cost control and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor container availability, depot inventory levels, and equipment flows
- Coordinate container positioning, repositioning, and allocation
- Manage repair, maintenance, and off-hire requests with vendors and depots
- Track key performance indicators (turn time, utilization, exceptions, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with terminals, depots, trucking companies, and internal teams
- Support equipment-related cost analysis and reporting
- Maintain accurate records in internal equipment management systems
- This role may require flexibility to support evolving business and operational needs
Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, administrative, or coordination roles
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and international environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. (Form I-9 verification required upon hire)
- Shipping or logistics experience is a plus but not required
- Must be able to work onsite at the assigned office location
Work Schedule: M-F (Standard Business Hours local time)
