Position: Territory Sales Manager

Are you an experienced sales professional with a track record of driving government sales? Do you have experience selling to municipalities, parks & recreation departments, or public agencies? If so, Rent.Fun wants you to lead the expansion of our self-service rental solutions in the Midwest.

What You'll Do

  • Use our existing CRM of government contacts to build your pipeline.
  • Connect with all communities within your territory to identify their needs and challenges in adopting app based kayak / rec-equipment rental and bikeshare.
  • Identify and close deals, working through the government procurement and contracting process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, city officials, and community leaders.
  • Leverage data and insights to drive targeted sales initiatives and improve conversion rates.
  • Represent Rent.Fun at industry conferences, municipal meetings, and networking events to drive brand awareness.
  • Iterate on and improve collateral and sales process documentation.
  • Travel to meet multiple prospective communities within the territory over multi-night trips.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5+ years of proven success in B2B sales, government sales, or municipal partnerships.
  • Experience selling to local governments, parks & recreation departments, or public agencies is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of government procurement processes, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive long-term growth.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset-able to work independently and drive initiatives forward.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Tech-savvy and data-driven, with experience using CRM tools (Hubspot) and sales analytics.
  • Hybrid, effective working remotely, willing to work in office.

Why Join RentFun?

Base Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 (DOE)

Commission: 4%, Uncapped.

On-Target Earnings (OTE): $90,000 - $110,000+ at plan.

Proven Process: Proven meeting to close math based on 3 years of data.

Ramp-Up Program: We offer a monthly commission guarantee (draw) during your first 4 months. The monthly guarantee amount is negotiable based on your previous sales track record.
