Job description

About PureWay
PureWay Compliance is a national healthcare and environmental compliance company specializing in regulated waste collection, logistics, fulfillment, transportation coordination, and compliance solutions. We support healthcare providers, pharmacies, government agencies, and commercial customers through a nationwide network of warehouses, transportation partners, and service providers.

More than 117 million Americans use injectable medications at home. Our vision is to make safe sharps disposal as common and understood as recycling batteries or returning unused medications—creating a new national standard for protecting families, healthcare workers, sanitation workers, and the environment.

We're looking for a transformational Consumer Marketing Leadership(CML) to lead this mission.

This is not a traditional marketing role. It is an opportunity to build a consumer movement, develop a new category, and drive one of the largest untapped growth opportunities in healthcare.

As Consumer Marketing Leadership, you will lead PureWay's national consumer growth strategy, brand development, public awareness initiatives, and strategic partnerships. Your mission is to educate millions of Americans about safe sharps disposal while building scalable programs that drive consumer adoption and measurable business growth.

You'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with executive leadership to define the company's long-term growth strategy.

This role requires a builder—not someone who simply manages existing brands, but someone who has successfully created markets, influenced consumer behavior, and scaled high-growth organizations.

What you will do:
Consumer Growth Strategy
  • Develop and execute a national consumer marketing strategy.
  • Build awareness around safe home sharps disposal.
  • Position PureWay as the trusted national leader in consumer sharps mail-back.
  • Drive measurable consumer acquisition, engagement, utilization, and retention.
Brand & Category Development
  • Create a nationally recognized consumer brand.
  • Develop messaging that changes consumer behavior.
  • Build educational campaigns that simplify safe sharps disposal.
  • Establish PureWay as the category leader for home sharps mail-back.

  • Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
  • Conversion Rates
  • Engagement
  • Kit Utilization
  • Return Rates
  • Customer Lifetime Value
  • ROI

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
  • 7+ years leading high-performing marketing teams.
  • Demonstrated success growing consumer-facing businesses.
  • Experience building national marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical and performance marketing expertise.
  • Experience owning significant marketing budgets.
  • Exceptional executive communication and leadership skills.
