Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daytoday upkeep of production equipment and plant utilities. Working on the day shift, the technician will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment failures, and ensure a safe, efficient operating environment.

DaytoDay Duties
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, conveyors, and ancillary systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues promptly.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and equipment histories.
  • Coordinate with production supervisors to prioritize work and minimize downtime.
  • Inspect safety devices, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Order, receive, and manage inventory of spare parts and consumables.
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting training to equipment operators.
  • Participate in continuousimprovement initiatives to boost equipment reliability.
MustHave Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training in mechanics, electricity, or a related field is preferred.
