Seeking a 4–6-year APM/PM who can help support current PM staff. Reason for opening: Team is growing a bidding more work Key Responsibilities: - Support Project Managers in all phases of commercial construction projects. - Assist with project planning, scheduling, procurement, budgeting, and closeout activities. - Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders. - Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. - Track project costs, labor, and schedules to ensure projects remain on budget and on schedule. - Participate in project meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. - Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements. - Assist with monthly cost reporting, forecasting, and financial tracking. - Monitor construction progress and proactively identify and resolve project issues. - Support field teams and Superintendents to maintain quality, safety, and production goals. - Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. - Manage smaller projects independently while supporting larger commercial projects under senior leadership. - Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company standards, contract documents, and safety requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. 4-5 years of commercial construction project management or assistant project management experience. Experience supporting projects ranging from approximately $20K to $7M. Strong understanding of commercial construction means, methods, and sequencing. Knowledge of contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, budgeting, and scheduling practices. Experience working with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
