C Squared Systems, LLC is an RF engineering, consulting, and software development company specializing in providing services for seamless wireless coverage from RF analysis to design and implementation of DAS systems and Wi-Fi networks to remote monitoring and management of complex multi-vendor environments.

Since 1999, C Squared Systems has executed turnkey In-Building wireless solutions using state-of-the-art analysis tools to deliver RF solutions that exceed project scope and customer expectations. Our experience, technical expertise, and diverse projects in the wireless realm have allowed C Squared Systems to continually evolve as new technologies are developed and the demands of our customers change.

C Squared Systems is currently seeking an enthusiastic entry โ€“ mid level Construction Manager to join our high performing team of technology professionals in Syracuse, NY. This position encompasses leading installation projects from beginning to end, along with supporting the customer requests for new builds, repairs, and routine maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion in overall project management by prioritizing, planning, and tracking project progress while staying within the budget.
  • Daily field deployment to oversee construction.
  • Field installation, Coax cable testing/repair, fiber testing/repair, surveys, and coming up with various innovative construction solutions.
  • Stakeholder updates using the MS Office Suite
  • Consults with management to identify customer needs and coordinate project objectives.
  • Manages the resources performing the construction work including direct reporting staff, matrix staff, and vendor and subcontractor resources
  • Create/Update SOPโ€™s (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Quality Assurance verification for various projects.

Requirements:

  • A valid driverโ€™s license is required
  • A high school diploma with 2-5 year of relevant installation/construction experience, a degree in Construction Management, or a combination of education and experience (compensation for this position will be scaled based on the experience and skill level.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Must be able to lift objects of up to 50 pounds
  • Experience with hand/power tools, and knowledge of various hardware mounting solutions (drilling into concrete, drywall, wood and mounting equipment to various structures)
  • Commitment to conducting daily fieldwork, entailing around 80% travel, which includes occasional night shifts and out-of-state assignments.
  • Attention to detail including quality, safety, code, and adhering to customer standards.
  • This is a full-time position, salaried position with hours of work being: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Ability to work beyond normal work hours to get the job done.
  • Telecommunication related experience is a plus (but not required)
  • Electrical/Conduit experience is a plus (but not required)
  • OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus (but not required)
