About this Role
Brink Constructors, Inc.
Work will consist of installations, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, and associated materials and equipment within the high voltage substation electrical industry.
Position requires 100% travel anywhere throughout the MidWest
What You'll Do
  • Install and assemble high-voltage equipment such as transformers, breakers, switches, bus work, and control panels
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans
  • Build grounding systems, conduit runs, cable trays, and structural supports
  • Pull, terminate, and label control wiring and power cables
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as required
  • Perform equipment testing, inspections, and quality checks
  • Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on-site
  • Document work performed and report progress or issues to leadership

What You'll Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Line School Certificate or Transcripts
  • Department of Labor Recognized Journeyman Lineworker Certification or proof of equivalent hours worked
  • 4+ years previous substation construction or equivalent experience
  • Active, Valid Driver's License
  • Valid CDL A is preferred
