The Opportunity: Lead High-Impact Data Center Projects

Are you a highly driven and technically astute Project Manager who thrives in dynamic, high-stakes construction environments? S2N is seeking a Project Manager, Data Centers to own the successful delivery of Layer 1 infrastructure for large, hyper-scaler clients. This is a demanding, schedule-driven role where your goal-oriented mindset and construction management expertise will directly contribute to building the digital backbone of global communication and commerce.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive Project Success: Take full ownership of the project lifecycle from initiation through closeout. Develop and manage aggressive project schedules, meticulously control budgets and costs, and ensure project profitability.
  • Lead & Empower Your Team: Build, lead, and motivate your project team. Provide technical and administrative leadership, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Champion training and development opportunities for direct reports.
  • Oversee Complex Infrastructure: Manage the implementation and integration of critical systems, with a specialized focus on:
    • Layer 1 infrastructure
    • Cabinet/Rack Level Cooling and Power Distribution
    • Integrated Security Systems (access control, video surveillance)
    • Level 0 through Level 5 testing and commissioning
  • Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with owners, design teams, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Serve as the primary point of contact, expertly navigating communication and resolving issues.
  • Ensure Quality & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of quality control and rigorously ensure compliance with industry specifications and standards.
  • Handle Project Administration: Skillfully manage all project documentation, including contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement processes, and monitoring correspondence.

What You'll Bring:

  • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar relevant technical field.
    • 5+ years of progressive construction management experience.
    • Demonstrated success managing layer 1 infrastructure for large hyper-scalers
    • Minimum 2 years of direct supervisory or team leadership experience.
    • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, proactive, and a proven problem-solver.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly Preferred:
    • Prior experience specifically managing large-scale, data center projects.
    • Experience skillfully negotiating and developing relationships with owners and subcontractors.
    • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., BICSI, PMP, ASIS, CTS).
