You as a Construction Manager will:

  • Accountable for overall project performance of one major project (>$250M in value) or a portfolio of smaller projects

  • Oversee the design, construction, and warranty handover of projects to ensure projects are completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule objectives

  • Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required

  • Develop and maintain pre-construction schedules, baseline construction schedules, procurement schedules, commissioning and PDI schedules

  • Plan, coordinate and/or supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s)

  • Ensure project safety standards, company, client policies and environmental programs are adhered to

  • Lead and develop area initiatives and best practices that align with the business goals

Is this the right role for you?

  • 15 - 20 years supervisory or equivalent experience in ICI Construction.

  • Engineering or Construction related degree/diploma, or an equivalent work experience.

  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures and standards, union jurisdiction, labor agreements and negotiations essential.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills.

  • Experienced in managing and developing a team
