Expert knowledge of construction operations, building materials, specifications, methods, sequencing, and quality management practices for large, complex projects.
Extensive knowledge of safety and environmental legislation, practices, and procedures, with a demonstrated commitment to building strong safety cultures.
Advanced understanding and application of construction laws, building codes, collective agreements, jurisdictional assignments, insurance, bonding, and legal requirements.
Strong strategic business acumen with the ability to identify risks, opportunities, staffing needs, and labor considerations on complex projects.
Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams, coordinate multiple scopes of work, and assess trade performance.
Excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in project controls, including budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost management, change management, and resource planning.
Experience administering complex subcontracts, purchase orders, and document control processes while mitigating risk and maximizing project outcomes.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, company procedures, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management, scheduling, and estimating software.
