Construction project managers oversee commercial/industrial building projects to make sure they satisfy client demands. They supervise construction workers, consult architects and engineers, create budgets, order supplies, and work with government officials to make sure buildings and structures meet city, state and federal codes. Specific duties include:



  • Leading construction progress meetings

  • Overseeing design development

  • Preparing and managing project budget and schedule

  • Reviewing schedules

  • Cost projections

  • Contracts

  • Project status reports

  • Communicate effectively with superintendents, general contractors, subcontractors

  • Knowledge of estimating techniques

  • Cost control and material pricing

  • Ensures all necessary permits and easements are obtained

  • Proven ability to manage projects up to $10MM
