Job description


We are looking for an experienced Estimator / Project Coordinator to oversee projects from conception to completion focusing on slab-on-ground applications for post-tensioning materials and services within the multifamily residential construction market. This role will involve working closely with our sales and engineering teams to provide a better service to our customers and increase our market share. This position is located in Alpharetta, GA.


  • Project Coordinator: Serve as the primary point of contact leading and managing multiple projects ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and providing field service support as need by client to fulfill contractual obligations.
  • Detailing: Help in the development of engineering and/or field installation plans with the help our corporate engineering group while also maintaining all the project documentation, including structural drawings, specifications and RFIs related to the project.
  • Estimating: Develop comprehensive and accurate estimates for materials required on each project.
  • Collaboration: Work directly with the sales team to understand client’s needs and while also working with our engineering and operations groups to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Business Development: Attend and participate in industry associations and events to promote company capabilities and look for any new business opportunities.

  • 5-years of relevant construction experience in multifamily construction projects
  • Knowledge of concrete foundation construction methods and concrete reinforcing materials preferred
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Computer knowledge of general Microsoft products (Word, Excel, etc.)

EDUCATION:         

College degree preferred, but not required.


Salary Range: $30.00-$32.00 per hour DOE

 

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
