A growing construction organization in the San Jose metro area is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Procurement Agent / Purchasing Clerk to support purchasing operations and project cost management. This role is ideal for a procurement professional with construction industry experience who excels at vendor negotiations, material sourcing, and budget tracking. Working closely with project managers, finance teams, and field personnel, you will play a critical role in ensuring materials are procured efficiently, delivered on time, and aligned with project budgets. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact construction projects while gaining valuable long-term career experience.
Duties
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with suppliers to secure cost-effective purchasing solutions
  • Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and project-related suppliesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality products and reliable delivery schedules
  • Analyze pricing trends and identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs and improve efficiencies
