What You’ll Do:

  • Purchase construction materials, supplies, and equipment for active projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers and field teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Issue purchase orders and monitor order status from placement through delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Compare pricing, availability, and lead times to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Coordinate material deliveries to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Resolve delivery issues, shortages, and discrepancies with vendors.
  • Maintain purchasing records, vendor information, and procurement reports.
  • Collaborate with accounting and operations to ensure accurate documentation and invoicing.

What You Need:

  • Previous purchasing, procurement, inventory, or construction coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and purchasing or ERP software.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
