Concrete Construction Operations Manager Lead High-Performance Commercial and Government Builds

Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will serve as a high-level field and operational leader, taking full ownership of project execution from planning to final completion. This role offers the unique chance to drive profitability and safety for a respected regional leader while ensuring you are "Always Home for Dinner." You will be the bridge between ownership and the field, mentoring up and coming Project Managers, and optimizing large-scale civil concrete projects.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Direct all project phases to ensure milestones are consistently achieved and high-quality standards are maintained.

  • Analyze job costing and production rates to ensure projects consistently hit or exceed margin targets.

  • Supervise and mentor project teams to build a culture of accountability and professional growth.

  • Enforce strict safety programs and quality control measures to minimize site incidents and hazards.

  • Coordinate with Project Managers to align resource allocation with accurate bid reviews and schedules.

  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors to ensure timely material delivery and budget control.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 7 to 15+ years of experience in construction with a focus on civil concrete.

  • At least 5 years of proven leadership experience managing multiple crews and complex projects.

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard project software.

  • B2W or HCSS
