Wylander is recruiting a Construction Manager for a full-service disaster restoration company located in Grand Rapids, MN.
Construction Manager Compensation and Benefits:

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all reconstruction projects following property damage caused by water, fire, mold, or other disasters. This role manages projects from mitigation handoff through final completion, ensuring quality workmanship, schedule adherence, budget control, and exceptional customer service. The Construction Manager works closely with mitigation teams, subcontractors, insurance partners, and property owners to deliver projects efficiently and to company standards.
Construction Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage all reconstruction projects from start to finish, including residential and commercial losses
  • Review mitigation scopes and develop detailed reconstruction scopes, budgets, and schedules
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and internal crews
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
  • Communicate regularly with homeowners, property managers, adjusters, and internal teams
  • Monitor project timelines, costs, change orders, and job profitability
  • Conduct jobsite inspections to ensure quality control and safety compliance
  • Obtain permits, schedule inspections, and ensure timely approvals
  • Resolve project issues, delays, and customer concerns professionally and efficiently

Construction Manager Requirements:
  • 5+ years of management experience within the construction industry
  • Proven ability to build, motivate and maintain a high performing team
  • Proficiency with the Microsoftยฎ Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and internet and software Systems
  • Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize a variety of tasks/projects
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable. Identifies own learning needs and seeks appropriate steps to continue continual self-development
  • Bilingual
  • BA/BS required or equivalent experience
