Rich & Sons is a family-owned company providing Commercial Plumbing, Process Piping, Site Utilities and Municipal Service throughout Illinois and is seeking a full-time Construction Project Manager.We are looking for a career-minded person who is looking for a long-term position with a great company.

Essential Functions:

  • Attend turn-over meetings and understand in detail the scope of each job
  • Create billing breakdown for each job
  • Complete submittals
  • Complete plan fabrication
  • Handle and plan for all material and equipment for a job in coordination with the Warehouse Manager and Heavy Equipment Manager
  • Request buy pricing from vendors, select vendors, and order materials
  • Maintainaccuraterecords of operations, including project timelines, costs, and safety compliance
  • Schedule company resources whichincludes:manpower, equipment, tools, and materials
  • Manage the construction schedule for all jobs
  • Coordinate with any other trades on the job
  • Manage change orders and RFIs
  • Investigate and handle any issues that arise through to resolution



Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma required; bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years construction project management experience; mechanical/plumbing industry experience preferred
