Portland Community College is accepting applications to be considered for Part-Time Faculty assignments in the Building Construction Technology Program at the Rock Creek Campus. The Department will review applications in this pool as the need arises for new part-time faculty in this area.This is NOT an announcement of a specific open position, but a Part-time Faculty Interest Pool, from which the department will identify applicants based on course assignment needs during the Academic Year. Instructor Qualifications
Master's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil or Structural Engineering or other construction related field
Minimum of 3 years recent full-time experience in residential/light commercial construction industry. (Recent college level teaching or industry training experience, or a combination, may be substituted, year for year, for recent experience)
OR
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil or Structural Engineering or other construction related field
Minimum of 4 years recent full-time experience in residential/light commercial construction industry. (Recent college level teaching or industry training experience, or a combination, may be substituted, year for year, for recent experience)
OR
Associates' degree in a construction-related field, OR a Journey Person card
Minimum of 5 years recent full-time experience in residential/light commercial construction industry. (Recent college level teaching or industry training experience, or a combination, may be substituted, year for year, for recent experience).
