General Description/Primary Purpose:

The Department of Construction Management is seeking a 12-month, non-tenure earning, Instructor of Construction Management. Position responsibilities include 4/4 teaching load or its equivalent and service.


Supervisor: This position will report to the Department Chair.


Working Hours: Full-time position


Supervision Exercised: This is not a supervisory role


Required Licensure: N/A


Anticipated Start Date: The position is expected to begin on August 9, 2027.


Required Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.


· Demonstrated ability and track record to teach undergraduate students in the field of construction management.


· Strong communication and interpersonal skills


Preferred Qualifications / Skills:

· A minimum of two years of college-level teaching experience in subjects such as computer applications, construction management, and capstone projects.


· A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience in construction management.


· Sufficient knowledge and experience to teach construction surveying, drawing reading, scheduling, construction materials, and estimating courses for the BS in Building Construction degree program.
